KERYN GIBSON BELL
Hi there, settle in for story time. I was born and raised in the small South Florida town of Jupiter (yes that’s really a town), and had my first taste of filmmaking in high school, winning the Burt Reynolds Scholarship at the Palm Beach International Film Festival, amongst several other festivals, after that I was hooked. After high school, this small town girl who spent summers dodging alligators in the Loxahatchee and filmmaking, took those goals to Florida State University (go Noles) earning a degree in Media Production and Psychology.
From there I landed an internship in Los Angeles, so I packed my bags and embarked on an epic cross-country road trip. Since then, I’ve spent my time building a successful editing career and pursuing a passion for directing. I have several award-nominated pieces including a web series, along with several other short films.
Outside of filmmaking, I am an avid reader, martial artist, and trail runner. Martial arts takes patience, courage, and dedication, all qualities I will bring to you. I am confident I can bring your project to life and look forward to the next opportunity.
